- How long has the group been singing?
- The Pathfinders began singing in 2001. The current group, as of the ‘Tis So Sweet project are in their second year together.
- How did the group get the name “The Pathfinders”?
- One of the founding members of the group came across the repetitive theme of paths while going through a series of scriptures and came up with the name “The Pathfinders” (referencing Proverbs 4:11).
- What Church is your home? Do you all attend the same Church?
- The Pathfinders make their Church homes at Fielder Road Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas and Inglewood Baptist Church, Grand Prairie, Texas. Three of the members attend Fielder Road Baptist Church, one member attends Englewood Baptist Church and one attends Shady Grove Baptist Church in North Richland Hills.
- Why do you call yourself a quartet when there are five of you?
- Good question…Our fifth member is our pianist. First the vocal parts came together and then our pianist followed.
